9:00am    Discussion, Proper warm up of roper, rider, & horse

9:10        Warm up – Ground roping  (catch dummy 10 times)

9:40        Warm up – Horse

10:00      Warm up – Rope stationary dummy from horse

10:30      Rope moving dummy on horse (work on position, rating, throw, etc.)

11:15      Cattle Handling exercise (work on holding cattle in group, picking out one animal and moving it from one group to another, recognizing intentions of animal and responding or anticipating movement)

12:15     Lunch (BRING YOUR OWN); Dummy roping contest

12:45     Ranch roping exercise (2 animal controlled exercise)

1:30       Ranch Roping – General roping from herd

2:15       Break away roping – Box Work

2:45       Break away roping – rope moving dummy (rating, position, etc.)

3:30       Scoring cattle (keeping horse calm in box)

4:00       Break away roping – general practice

5:00       Conclude
